Wildlife Technician

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Wildlife Technician with a background in construction to join our team. This role involves safely removing and excluding wildlife while completing structural repairs and preventative work.

You will play a key role in helping us deliver on our promise: Remediate, Repair, Restore Peace of Mind.


Responsibilities

  • Inspect homes and buildings to identify wildlife entry points, damage, and nesting areas
  • Safely and humanely remove wildlife such as raccoons, squirrels, bats, birds, and skunks
  • Perform exclusion work including sealing entry points and installing protective barriers
  • Complete structural repairs such as roof patching, soffit and fascia repair, chimney capping, and sealing
  • Set and monitor traps as required, following regulations and best practices
  • Educate customers on prevention and recommend additional services
  • Work at heights, on ladders, and in confined spaces as needed
  • Maintain detailed service reports and communicate findings clearly
  • Follow all safety and environmental guidelines

Requirements

  • Experience in construction, roofing, carpentry, or general contracting is required
  • Previous wildlife or pest control experience is an asset (training provided)
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various conditions and physically demanding environments
  • Ability to safely use hand and power tools
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
