Wildlife Technician
Location: Midland, ON, Canada

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Wildlife Technician with a background in construction to join our team. This role involves safely removing and excluding wildlife while completing structural repairs and preventative work.
You will play a key role in helping us deliver on our promise: Remediate, Repair, Restore Peace of Mind.
Responsibilities
- Inspect homes and buildings to identify wildlife entry points, damage, and nesting areas
- Safely and humanely remove wildlife such as raccoons, squirrels, bats, birds, and skunks
- Perform exclusion work including sealing entry points and installing protective barriers
- Complete structural repairs such as roof patching, soffit and fascia repair, chimney capping, and sealing
- Set and monitor traps as required, following regulations and best practices
- Educate customers on prevention and recommend additional services
- Work at heights, on ladders, and in confined spaces as needed
- Maintain detailed service reports and communicate findings clearly
- Follow all safety and environmental guidelines
Requirements
- Experience in construction, roofing, carpentry, or general contracting is required
- Previous wildlife or pest control experience is an asset (training provided)
- Comfortable working outdoors in various conditions and physically demanding environments
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
